What HyreToday is, and is not

HyreToday is a directory. We help clients find tradespeople in Ireland and contact them directly. We are not a party to the work you agree, we do not employ the professionals listed, we do not supervise the work, and we take no commission on it.

Any contract for work is between the client and the professional. So is any dispute about it.

We do not vouch for anyone

Profiles are written by the professionals themselves. We do not verify qualifications, insurance or registration unless a profile explicitly shows a badge saying we checked it.

Before hiring anyone, confirm their insurance and any registration the job requires — RECI or Safe Electric for electrical work, RGI for gas. This is not a formality: it is the difference between a job that is covered and one that is not.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate information.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
• One professional profile per account.

What you publish

You keep ownership of the text and photos you upload, and you give us permission to display them on the site and in search engine results. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to do so.

Do not publish:

• Work that is not yours, or photos you do not have the right to use.
• False claims about qualifications, registrations or insurance.
• Contact details of other people without their consent.
• Anything illegal, misleading, offensive or designed to defraud.

We can remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we do, we say why.

Contacting professionals

The enquiry form exists so clients can describe a job. Using it to send advertising, recruitment or bulk messages is not allowed, and we rate-limit and block accounts that do.

Paid plans

Listing on HyreToday is free. Paid plans add visibility and higher limits; what each plan includes is on the pricing page.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• We do not refund part-months, except where Irish consumer law requires it.
• If a payment fails, the plan drops back to Free until payment succeeds.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will tell subscribers in advance.

Liability

To the extent Irish law allows, we are not liable for the quality, safety or legality of work arranged through the site, nor for losses arising from a contract between a client and a professional. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.

If we change these terms materially, we will say so on this page and, where it affects your account, by email. Questions go to hello@hyretoday.com.
